I traded for a slide marked #7790314 and barrel #7791193. No manufactured stamps. The barrel lug has M P on one side and #73677 on the other. These were given to a retired marine by an armorer when they were going to the 9mm. Both parts are n.o.s. And the barrel is chrome lined. Any ideas as to what I traded for. Thanks.

7790314 and 7791193 are National Stock Numbers (basically part numbers). 73677 is a Cage Code (denotes the manufacturer) for the barrel, in this case Duroyd Mfg. Co. Inc. of NY. Made in the early 1980s. M & P are Magnafluxed and Proofed.

Look again for a cage number on the slide. Colt marked theirs as Colt, but other manufactures used a cage number.

Yes, for $150 you did good. The slide was made by Numax.
