Default New M14 Added to my Collection

This M14 forum doesn't seem to get much action, so I wanted to post some photos of my new M14. It is an LRB with Criterion barrel and TRW bolt, built with a DuPage parts kit and Hawk's Dummy Kit.

I wanted something with the Vietnam-ish era USGI look, to go with all of my US milsurp rifles. Unfortunately it does have a neutered flash hider, since I live in MA...

Ted Brown put it together and it came out great! Couldn't be happier!

Thanks for looking!

One of the things I liked about this rifle was the battle worn look it has. Most of the M14's I work on look new and, although beautiful, take some time to develop real character.

Looks great and nice work!!! Those Dupage part kits were a heck of a deal and wish I had bought more than one.

Wow very nice,I picked up one of the LRB kits they had for sale a couple weeks ago,you had to have your own sight pinon and Gas assembly which i had spares of ,then the usual ,barrel,Bolt,Receiver to buy,And they sent me a beautiful kit,With a very nice walnut stock with one little scratch on it for $389.00 and all matching H&R Parts,I did have to but the rear flipper on the stock ,Waiting on the receiver now. Did anyone else order one and get one like that?

Nice looking rifle. What cracks me up is your allowed the faux auto switch and a 20 round magazine.....but no bayonet lug. How many people up there have been killed by a rifle w/bayonet?

How many lives have been saved by not allowing the lug?

Sorry, couldn't help it.

Good question. We are essentially still under the 1994 AWB, so the 20 round USGI (pre-ban) mags are OK but not bayonet lugs (since the LBR receiver is not pre-Ď94).
