Default SAI Camo Stock Set History

Can anyone provide the history of SAI selling M1A rifles with a woodland camo composite stock set? I have seen some for sale that had the cutout on the right side, for the M14 selector. They were shipped in the 80s with a 5 digit serial number. Then I have seen some SAI woodland camo composite stock sets for sales that did not have the cutout, but were advertised as USGI stock sets.

Can anyone clarify this or refer to a previous thread that does?

Somewhere I have seen a list of Springfield Inc. M1A Stock Numbers - and I seem to recall that camo was an option - a while back. If you can find this list, it will tell you it was a legit SAI Model, and when available. Perhaps someone with the list will chime in.
