[QUOTE=2AD_Vet;622259]Okay, I'll play too...

Not sure if this thread in intended just for CMP Kit M14s and if so, sorry for the post but here is my Federal Ordnance M14SA from the early 90's. Been a very dependable rifle thus far and shoots like a dream.....

Unforturnately our California gun laws means she can only have a 10 round magazine which looks kinda silly on an M14 but maybe someday........

Hi 2AD_vet,
I have an early FedOrd fiberglass stocked M-14. I used to drop by their store and buy 20 round mags when ever I could, not knowing that they'd be outlawed in 2000 I was told that their M-14's were exIsraeli with new receivers. Is this true? mine has the auto cut out in the stock.
Itsa good shooter!!!!!

Me too. CT is one of those coo coo states that doesn't like flash suppressors and bayonet lugs. I do have a couple dozen USGI flash suppressors in case I move to a free state. Thanks for noticeing. The LRB brake does help a bunch for follow up shots. Not being a competitive shooter, I love the things on my home range.

Tedtheshooter, it entirely possible that the parts came from Israel. I have a new Winchester barrel on my LRB m14. Ted Brown pointed out the Israeli proof mark on my barrel when I delivered him my parts.
