Default freds m14 stocks

Just wanted to throw out some praise for freds m14 stocks.... there seems to be a lot of people putting him down for being slow on shipping and i wanted to redeem him a little. I have ordered several times over the last couple years and have had to wait maybe a month each time... no big deal. Well, i ordered an excellent walnut stock on fri june 28th and it shipped today to be delivered this friday. Thanks Fred

I ordered the $19 walnut special on the 19th and got it on the 21st, I'm more than happy with their service.

Theives in my book. They boned me on a stock, took $70 of my money and I got nothing to show for it. Strung me along on the phone.

I ordered this stock 2 weeks ago and got it on Monday last week. It's an Exc-plus walnut FWIW. This stock seems pretty accurately described, there's a couple miniscule dings on the stock which look like they would steam out if desired. I prefer a little bit of character though. DOD Stamp with the circle P on the grip, a rack number "228" on the bottom of the grip and what looks like silvery powder in the barrel channel of the stock. I've got a couple years before I will be able to build my M14/M1A, but the rifle I am going to build will likely be an heirloom I pass down to my kids someday. I am planning on cleaning this stock up and re-finishing it with my Grandfather to add some sentimental value to the rifle.

Definitely worth $67 IMO

I ordered a stock from Fred last Thursday morning and it was on the truck Thursday afternoon. Received it the following Monday. I have ordered from Fred several times in the past few years and have ALWAYS received excellent service and product.

As far as reported, most folks have no problems with Fred's. Just seems a few, for unknown reasons are prone to problems. Let the **********ers go elsewhere. I have received stuff from Fred's over the years. No complaints from me. Merchandise is always better than expected.
Think happy thoughts and enjoy.

Well, I took a leap and ordered a stock and hand guard on Saturday 7/13 and just got an email that they shipped! I was hesitant from all the bad reports. Maybe(?) things have changed? We will see what comes.
