M14SA at this time with the M14SA letters replaced with M14BR for the M14 Battle Rifle Forum.

Will be the standard M14SA receiver only designated as M14BR instead of the M14SA.

Hold on a second guys. Can we get back on topic? The OP was about access to the M14 forum, not about br's or lrb group buys. Nice, slick, shameless plugs btw.

But since you guys opened the door, how about discussion of access to m14br? I wonder if my account is still active there? I haven't done anything wrong since I was invited back around the GLA group buy time.

It was Ripsaw with a capitol R, I think, instead of a small r like on m14forum.....dunno for sure. I'm sure there are enough moderators over there to help me work it out. Maybe a new account under B.A.R in case I want to hold a group buy there this spring.

My point is, if I still have an account there, I might want to get an lrb receiver since I've never owned one. Then I could do a build review and a shakedown cruise at my 1000yd. range with it. I've built and worked on 21 of them for different customers according to my FFL book. There were about 3 or 4 more that were drop in day trips for accuracy tuning that weren't booked in overnight.

Love shooting other guys rifles! Especially when they bring their own ammo, but that isn't always the case. My good friend mineralman55, god rest his soul, always forgot his ammo, but he always remembered to bring the Makers Mark or the Blue Label ! We miss you brother.

Most of them went pretty well, except a few gave me "headspace headache" with g.i. chrome lined barrels....ha, ..... I just made that term up, but it fits. I hate lapping bolts, but I like the guaranteed fit and contact, if it has to be done.

I'll be curious to see if all the down time and changes at lrb has cured my headaches. A few quick measurements of the barrel ring and locking lugs should tell. I'm sure they will be excellent.

I have a nice all TRW kit with a new in the tube TRW barrel.....and a Winchester kit with a new barrel. Will be a real toss-up on deciding which one to use for the build. I guess whichever one will headspace with the most clearance.

I like the idea of M14BR....it could stand for Bowen's Rifle!
So, somebody let me know. I don't want to push in or hang out where I'm not wanted, but I do think I have a lot more to offer the M14 community, by way of experience and the giant amount of knowledge I have learned in the past ten years.
(Shameless plug for an invite)

One of the things I've run into with almost every site is that they will automatically sign you out after a given period of time. All that is required is to sign back in. It's just that I often forget my pin which is a problem for me, but they usually have an easy method to recover it. I didn't have any problems with opening the M14 forum.

As the original OP, no problems getting on the M14 Forum in recent times. I must say, that pauses with more than three dots just irks me... but I'm an origianalist. i.e. say what you mean and mean what you say.
