Default M1A / semi auto M14 receivers made in Brazil

Years ago, were not some made in Brazil and imported into this country ?

Or am I thinking of the FAL rifles they sold?

AFAIK, no Springfield Armory M1A rifle receivers were ever made in Brazil. A good many basic castings were made in Canada, but they were machined in the US.

GL with that. Really will never find a receiver. Just buy a rifle and hope for decent parts.

Are you thinking of Imbel FAL receivers? Imbel also made (makes?) frames for some of the Springfield Armory 1911 type pistols.

SA, Inc I believe did have some Fal and HK clone rifles with Brazil receivers.
