Talking Barter system

A friend had me look at a problem with a revolver he had. Took 1/2 hr. to find the problem and fix it. He tried to pay me and I told him no, cause he loaned me his gauges to check out my 1917 Eddystone ( which measured 1 at the muzzle and 2 at the throat.). Yesterday he stopped by and gave me a Kileen Machine and Tool Company M-14 mag with 20 rounds of WRA67 in it. Wouldn't take no for an answer. I'm happy, he's happy and no money exchanged.

Love it when it works out that way! Of course, I’m sure it’s still a taxable event in the eyes of the IRS. Ugh
