Now that's a beautiful rifle. I have a SA M1A new manufacture, which I purchased last week. Plan on taking her to the range this weekend.

That is an awesome looking rifle when placed in that mac stock. I see a few of those at a couple service rifle matches and they have performed rather nicely for the shooters.

I understand that a Texas shooter named Nez Rongero just cleaned the plate for the guys in Louisiana in the leg match and beat all the M16's with one like that !! Do you shoot down there at Palo Alto ?

I just got this one last week (though I've had the stock laying around for a while). I like it a lot, it shoots fine & was relatively inexpensive as far as M1A/M14s go. It's not a beauty queen either, so I can actually use the thing without having to baby it.

Yes I shoot at Palo Alto, I made a fool of myself but Nez took the Gold at the LEG match, showed the Black Rifle guys how it's done. I was scoring him on the 600 line. He shot his #1 rifle which is a Desert Camo but the 2 and 3 are the standard McM USMC pattern.
