I would, but i feel like im pressing my luck in NJ with the fake switch.

although it would be nice to have a FH with a lug and a bayonet for when the SHTF.

Just ordered a standard M1A can't wait for it to get in. It will likely be 2 months before I can pick it up due to background check backlogs but I'm so excited.

Already looking for a usgi stock to dress it in as soon as I get it home.

The stock was NOS with govt hardware when I started, it had never been touched.
Just dings from storage which I did not attempt sand out or remove.

Applied 9 coats of pure tung oil / citrus solvent.
I did'nt want a high gloss finish, was trying for a somewhat matte finish.
