Ten brushes should last you a life time. Wrap a solvent soaked patch around the brush and clean the chamber and you'll never have a problem with a stuck case. Its easier to get the brush out when it wears down a little. Eddie

Ratcheting chamber brushes are a real PITA to use and the plastic knockoffs Numrich sells are more likely to break stuck in your chamber than they are to clean it. What you need is a good USGI M3A1 multi tool. By far, they are the superior tool for your Garand. Buy one of those with several spare brushes and you'll be much better off for years to come.

Honestly, not very much in this sort of product (or most products) is worth buying at Numrich or SARCO. 90% of what they advertise as USGI is Chinese junk made of soft or brittle metal or plastic products made in sweat shops from recycled water bottles.

When I joined the forum, I spent nine months reading every post in cmp sales and ask each other so I could learn everything I can but I donít recall ever seeing this item being talked about.
I would like to know if it is a usgi (or other military) item and if it can be used as a chamber reamer or what are the uses for it.
Thanks
I just read this post yesterday, and ordered one from numrich right away. I went to check the order today and they're all sold out, of both combo tools. I hope my order made it in before they ran out of inventory.

Posting available inventory for a milsurp accessory will often sell that item out quickly!!

Thanks for advice lap. I had read enough about sarco to be cautious but all my dealings with numrich have been good.
As for a lifetime supply, thatís what Iím doing. Iím am assembling cleaning kits, spare part kits, instructions and a logbook for each of my Milsurps for when they are passed on my kids and hopefully grandkids. (None in the works yet)

No, and they were a little pricey. But, I figured what the hell, I'd take the gamble. I'll post a picture when it comes in, if it does.
