Here ya go
I now own the rifle and am still working/struggling to get it to shoot where I think it should. I am beginning to have my doubts.
So far I have found one load that will shoot at .45 MOA at 200 yds. Only one though.
I want to be able to shoot F/TR with this rifle but with a 21" barrel that is a tough row to hoe and the fact that so far it won't shoot anything heavier than 155s is making 1000yds look really iffy.
The rifle is a huge hit everytime I get it out in public. Everyone wants to know what it is and everything about it.
No regrets here. Frustration, Yes. Regrets, no..
Cool factor is above 1000. Practical factor is somewhere around 50.
I'm convinced that it will never shoot as well as even a budget F/TR rifle like the Savage 12 F/TR and you will spend close to or more than the cost of the Savage to get it even close.
All that said, I am hard headed and fully intend to campaign this rifle in F/TR. Until I move to Houston with thicker air it should be competitive here at 5-7000ft.

I see that on my side the link isn't working. They fixed the E-store and broke the forum.
If it isn't working for you try it direct. http://http//www.thecmp.org/forums/s...ead.php?t=3197
You doubletapped the http:// part of the link both times.

Most of the posts concerning the MANN Accuracy Device a.k.a. MANN Accuracy Barrel were made on the old forum which at this moment is not up and running.
There are two threads on this forum that are accessible and they contain some links to the old forum. At least one of the links to the old forum still works but I have no idea how.
2007 thread link to old forum that works-

The other links will work when and if the olf forum should come back on line.

Default Mann Rifle

Several of us have built one.

I put mine in a M1903A3 scant stock which had the nose cut off and the barrel channel widened.

The hardest part was getting it headspaced after removing the collar.

Shoots fine - better than I.
