Sorry for the late notice. There is a match this Saturday at Minnetonka Game and Fish club. They run every 2 weeks. $10 per shoot. National match course, service, match, INT or F-class rifle, 300m on the fancy electronic targets (No pit service!!!).

Will post a report how this one goes with the new RRA. Got a pretty good load put together, first match with the rifle.

How did the match go?

I could have done better. New rifle and rusty shooter don't mix. My load worked pretty well until my arms got tired and/or barrel dirty. Was a very good opportunity for some rounds downrange. Nice facility, heated FPs, electronic scoring so no pits. Got some quality coaching from a top shooter at the end. Zero walked a bit towards the end. New rifle might be breaking in still.

Guys gave me a good chance to fire a bunch of practice rounds and get a firm zero for 300m. I will be going back. Lots of value for $10. Practice time is open to most any rifle so I'll have to put a few down with the vintage sniper and Swiss gun at some point. These are practice matches, not registered, which was a good thing today.

Got a crash course on wind today. Even the high masters and F-class guys were having a tough time staying inside the 9 ring. Good experience though. On the line with one of Chris Kyles spotters today.

The K-31 did surprisingly well on the INT target in a practice string. I might have a new convert to doing some vintage rifle shooting. Will have to bring the Sniper next time and really set the hook.
