Default Competition - Make an M1 SLED

How to make a better sled. Much like the commercial ones, but this one requires no tool to remove.

I hope to bring some M1 sleds to the Nationals in 2011 to share with M1 for Vets shooters and GCA shooters.
However, I have given so many away that I now find I have a shortage of clips. So, if you want one, please bring a clip from your stash to replace it.
Thanks, Ray

I know this is an old post but I made one and it functions great by hand with dummy rounds. Thanks for the info.

Default Sled

Made one using drimmel with abrasive cutting wheel. Works great!
Thanks for sharing fun project.

I've made a bunch of these and give them to new match shooters. One thing extra I do is to cut a 1/16" off the right lip to make snapping the round in easier and bending it out a little. Eddie
