just got a SA/SM it took 12 rounds to settle in then 5 rounds into 7/8'' at round
24 the op rod detached from the bolt real loose and sloppy will pull off just racking it. any one with a similar problem in a new gun?
I spoke to Springfield armory they will tighten it great but not acceptable in a
$2700 firearm. worried if it will still shoot well after removal from stock.

You already know it will take a few shots to settle back in after removal from stock, why are you "worried if it will still shoot well after removal from stock."?

If you don't find it acceptable for them to fix a gun, what do you find acceptable? Should they just shut down operations and stop selling rifles?

What I ment by unacceptable was that it was careless for them to
Send the gun out not properly assembled. No problem with the company.
How do you get to going out of business?
