Default Field Grade 1911 Received

I'm trying to help my brother. His Field Grade pistol has been delivered and we're trying to see what info we can find?

Colt frame, serial 1704370, marked GHD and a P.

Replacement slide (I think) marked MFR 2U894, 7790314, M on top.

Replacement barrel and bushing. She's a real mixmaster, but full of honest wear from doing a serious job. He says he'll shoot it and love it.

I got a rebuilt Service Grade in Rd 1 that I was concerned about shooting. My brother isn't feeling any reservation about shooting the snot out of his.

Any help will be appreciated!

The Colt frame was likely made in Dec. 1944. I have a completely original (NON CMP) Colt that is only about 200 #'s higher. Maybe made the same day.

My clawson book shows shipment to Springfield armory sometime between 12/1/44 through 12/13/44. Very difficult to impossible to know where it went after that.
There were 8 shipments in that 2 week span and guns were not shipped in serial number order
Any rebuild markings?
