Default A4 stock maybe?

Cut off is marked K. Does this look legit for an A4 bolt cut out?

Cutout looks good.

Stocks looks very pale. Maybe sanded.

As noted the stock appears to be legit, and someone cleaned the oils out of the wood. If it’s been sealed with a polyurethane or the like, I’d recommend stripping it down, cleaning it well, and restoring it with some raw linseed oil. It’ll take some time but will look much better and correct.

Its a Home hack cut out. You can tell very easily. The Gvt, when they did them made sure the top of cut did not expose the receiver tang. You see the gap under the rear receiver tang? They made sure this did not occur! Would only be a matter of time in dirt that the rifles rear area be full and be inop.

My good friend does these repro cuts and he is GOOD at them. He showed me how to tell shade tree rasp job right quick. Can prolly make a correct cutout on a piece of stock material on end mill then cut that area off the donor stock, prep yours to fit the new one. Glue in, 99% experts would not be able to tell it was not original.
