Yesterday I shot the last of the second 1000 round case of MKE 63, I ordered three cases and the first two opened were both MKE 63. I had one split case on round 1207. I was shooting a Remington 1903 and most of the smoke was vented through the Hatcher Hole with no damage to the rifle. I found the ammo to be very consistent and for me it shot well. Just opened the last case and it is MKE 78 and have not heard any bad news on this year. I only shoot surplus ammo and this was not the first split case I have had and I am sure it wont be the last, just the risk I take. Just to be cautious I will only shoot the MKE in my bolt guns.
