CMP coming to Mn in August of 2015

I'm reaching out for your help to help get the word out on the upcoming CMP games in late August at Harris,Mn

The current preregistration numbers are very low at this time. I did offer the explanation that here in the mid-west most ranges rarely fill up so most folks just don't feel the need to preregister. The problem is in this case is they really need to know how many personal to bring and how much stuff to bring up in the CMP mobile store.

So if you could please get the link posted on your club web page and in your blogs and ask people to please get signed up today to insure that they bring the correct amount of people and goodies in the mobile store!

And as a reminder, even if you don't shoot over the course any more, you can also shoot the rimfire sporter event or try out the pistol events!

Please help get the word out today and ask every one to do there part in supporting the CMP games and get signed up today.

I don't watch all the forums like a hawk, but the only place I've seen any mention of this event is in the Minnesota forum. You may want to consider posting this in some of the other sub-forums, as well.

I've done that in the past and the have been removed as duplicate posts. But you have a good point that maybe I could post under competition forums

You would think they would want to promote their own event?

Well it was a few years ago and I can see their point of wanting to keep everything in its place. Otherwise what's the point of individual forums. I did post in all of the match forums that were applicable.

I need to pre-reg. Work has been a bit crazy this summer, just haven't gotten around to it. Scheduling the Leg match on Thursday probably hasn't helped their cause either.

I'll bounce it off the Surplusrifle.com forum again now that we're getting a bit closer. I know there's a club out west where my sniper partner shoots occasional Garand matches at. I'll see if he can get some info out over there also.

You can camp right in the gun club. We have a camp area all set up. I believe we are charging $10 per night with a discount if your here for the whole thing.
