FWIW, Last November I purchased a Win 52D in very nice condition for $840.00.

No sights, but with a sling and hand stop. Not US marked.

I have an interested local buyer looking at the USMC marked 40X and the Win 52D. Both rifles are in very good condition and the offer is on the high end of the estimates provided here. Both rifles have Redfield Olympic sights and handstops. The 52D also has an adapter for mounting a vintage Redfield 20x adjustable objective target scope with rings that I also have for sale. I also have a sight tube that mounts to the Olympic rear sight. We are trying to come to an agreement on these accessories and a few other odds and ends.

Then I also have 2 Winchester M1 Garands for sale one with an incredible WRA stock, an IHC with LMR barrel, and a old correct grade grade HRA to sell. Also a 1903A3 with a pistol grip stock all CMP rifles. Cheers 🍻
