Default Bayonet 1905/43 fit M14 Look in Firearms News

IN Firearm News Aug 2022 issue 15 the m14 with bayonet mounted, page 46, this bayonet looks like a 1905 / 43 bayonet on the m14 instead of a m6 bayonet - will a 1905/43 bayonet fit the m14 ??

Tried it, No, The bayonet ring is too small and too high to fit over the flash supresser. Eddie

I had a Garand 10 inch Bayonet that had the ring expanded and the hole made bigger that flopped around on my Garand . Got rid of it , thinking it was Bubbafied . It did snap onto the lug . Wish I would have kept it now . Bob.

not sure how to post picture but the picture is clear to tell that an 10" is mounted on M14 but it does look like it is at an angle, thanks for your reply, if you can get an Firearms News August issue ,bottom left on page 46 is the picture

Probably an M1 bayonet modified for the BM59E (not to be confused with the regular BM59, which took a different bayonet).
