I thought I read that Monard would fix those albeit for a "fee".

It was the Monard “Meteor Deflector” model.

Oberle Enterprises will for a few hundred $. I cut mine apart myself and removed the plastic sheeting. Been using it as a prone only jacket earlier this year until my new one arrived.

Looks like I won't be getting a monard. I swear I read somewhere the creedmoor models were on the list. Memory isn't what it used to be. Thanks for the input gents!

New Monards sold through Oberle are legal as are coats pre 2014ish. It was a period between 2014 +/- and I want to say 2016 or 2017 where the coats had a plastic sheet type material sewn into the coat which was deemed illegal.

Dennis DeMille and his company Creedmoor have a close relationship with CMP. His coats have always been good to go/legal for CMP competiton

Close relationships and legality go together.

"Close relationships and legality go together".

Thanks guys, I'm aware of the relationship between the two. It's not my intent to discredit Creedmoor in anyway. IMO, they're customer service is on par with CMP. I've purchased all of my shooting equipment through them and will continue to do so. I'll be back for more business with creedmoor for a shooting coat in a couple of days.
Respectfully, Rich
