Default Cabela's IHC Purchase

A few years ago I purchased this IHC from Cabela's and it was a complete gamble. I knew pretty much zero about the rifle other than I really wanted a M1 Garand. They had a few options and I narrowed it down between a SA and this IHC. The guy in the gun library said the IHC was not as common and since it only cost $50 more than the SA did I bought the IHC. They wanted $1150 for it and I got a 5% discount on it as well. She shoots great and it is all IHC parts from what I have been able to see with the exception of the stock.

I am headed to Anniston next weekend and plan on picking up a 1917 and 1903. Eventually I will get around to getting an HRA to round out the other Garands I have, my IHC, Apr 41 SA, and Oct 42 WRA.

Its a Federal Ordnance Imported garand . For the $50 difference in cost I would have picked it over the SA to. Looks like a decent rifle

Does it have a 4 digit number in the barrel channel of the stock?

No, there weren't any numbers or anything inside the stock anywhere.
