Bob; carbine has no letters in with the numbers on the slide.
On the bottom of the slide, looks like a V stamped. Trigger housing has "Inland" stamped on it. Hammer has I-I on it. Inland barrel dated 9-44. Front sight has an N on it. SI on the front band/ bayo mount.

Where's a good place to get a USGI sling and Inland oiler(if Inland made any).
And who has the best carbine book?

I would try the WTB section here for the sling and oiler.
This is my go to book on the carbine, Amazon, or eBay should have it:

Bob,
Be sure to use Raw Linseed Oil and not BLO as some has said. The only US GI finish on a M1 carbine was RLO. You will have to get it from a real paint store, the box stores will not have it.
