    Greetings from SW Ohio

Hello from the Dayton area! I am a huge fan of the CMP (and it’s programs) and am lucky to have a couple of rifles that have previously passed through its doors! I’m looking forward to making a trip a few hours to the North store early next year to peruse and make my first personal CMP buy (unless a great M1 Carbine auction snags my attention).

At any rate, a few pics of my Garands and my 1903A3. These are all new to me over the past year and I’m very much enjoying building a collection of battle rifles...and I love the varied history of each of them.

My Greek Return Garand (10-55),my 1903A3 (12/42), and my 1873 Trapdoor Carbine (1889):

And my newest Garand, a 1943 Danish return with a VAR barrel from 1966 and mostly Beretta assemblies (and a few Springfield small parts):

Thanks for welcoming me to this wonderful community! I’m looking forward to learning more and getting to know folks around the forum.

New to the forum, I'm in Dayton as well. Been creeping around for several weeks, finally given permission from the admin to post. Been planning a trip to the north store for some time now to get my hands on my very first M1.
