You Montana people STOP IT! In the 70s and 80s I spent several years chasing oil rigs and seismic crews all around Montana and I fell in love with the state. Livingston and Big Timber areas especially.

You are making me sad I cannot get back there.

PS. Cold, yes. I remember pulling core from a well one February, and the oil seeped out and froze on the surface of the core. That's cold.

From Helena, glad there at least a few of us on here. At the moment though, I am on vacation in Florida. Had to shed all my winter clothes.

Resurrection of this old thread... Im new to northern Montana. I live in Belt.. 20 miles east of Great Falls. Haven't done any competition shooting in years. Anyone shoot at the Highwood range?
