•Sunday, Aug 12 - 200yd Vintage Military Match and 50yd 22 Rim Fire Sporter Match

The club has pits that will be worked by one of the relays, half the fun of the match I think but I always liked working the pits. Even if I shoot like crap I can still give great target service to someone else.

This is a very nice club. Shot here once last year and will shoot here probably once again this year being a 5 hour round trip.

From what I can remember, Vintage Rifle is held twice a year, once in the spring and and later on in the fall...or summer and fall. There's also a few XTC matches with a simulated 600yd line.

As a young college kid, I remember walking across a large parking lot to get to the gym. There sticking up in the black top was a shiny new 45ACP slug. There was a gun club down the road from campus that I belonged to. I took the round to the next club meeting and showed them what I had found and where. The membership was wise enough to raise their impact area on the ranges. Most ranges are grandfathered for noise; the fastest way to get a range shut down is to allow rounds to escape off the property.
