Our Iowa thread is way under used.
I thought I'd try to get some people posting from Iowa, so.....

I popped about a hundred rounds a couple weeks ago in Princeton.

Strike that, popped a hundred and some change out at Princeton today. Destroyed a tennis ball at 60 yards then killed the ******** out of a paper man at 100.

smc51,
You're correct that the Iowa forum is way under used.
My son and I shot a CMP match a couple of weeks ago at Oak Hill gun club. We did pretty good concidering that it was the 1st HP match we had shot for a year.
I used my Garand with M2 Ball (LC69) and the son used his M1 carbine.
Went out this afternoon and checked zeros with my match handloads. All is good there.
Now just have to wait for the next match.
