This one sold on gunbroker tonight. I was very tempted, but my budget was telling me no. I’m a coin collector as well, and we go nuts over errors like this in the coin world. How common is this, and does it bring a premium?

Cool stamp. There's a thread over on CC forum with stamping errors and other oddities suggest posting it there too.
As to the value it adds, something like this realistically I would say not a lot. |

See here also on CCC for another similar example.
http://www.uscarbinecal30.com/forum/...topic4422.html This one appears to have been originally roll stamped for 10-43 then 11-43. I missed seeing this one; what was the serial? Sent from my SM-S506DL using Tapatalk |

I once had an Inland barrel that was stamped twice, once on the bottom.

Found completed GB listing for IBM serial.
3774663 Correct for 11-43 That's cool Roger, on the Inland barrel double stamp. Imagining operator looking down at barrel and going, whoops; flip repeat and moving on. Sent from my SM-S506DL using Tapatalk |
