4.5 trigger?
I need a new trigger. I prefer a drop in. Everything I've looked at is 4.0 max weight. I need 4.5 to be legal. Asking for suggestions. Thanks.

I like the LaRue and I also like the Rock River. Triggers are like shoes..you go to pull them on and see if they fit. Same for triggers so head to your gun club and try out other club members triggers and see which one fits / feels bet.
I know...Geissele is the Holy Grail to those who built alters and burn incense & prostrate themselves to Geissele . I'm lucky, none of his triggers feel anything so wonderful to my old beat up hands and the LaRue or RR triggers feel fine . Having said that, the villagers are coming with torches and pitchforks to get me. I'm not a Geissele believer and that can't be allowed.

Larue has a very wide shoe and likely won’t make weight with the regular spring. Two of mine I had to install the heavy spring to make weight after I failed inspection. In a related issue is the bow geometry. The trigger bow sets back at an angle so the check weights hang on the end. This gives you a heavier trigger pull for the same check weight pull. RRA is good but it most likely will lighten on you. I prefer the RRA for a budget trigger and run a couple. Just make sure to check it often or bend the spring legs to give you a margin to make weight if it lightens on you.

I have had Rock River first then went with Geissele. After using Geissele the Rock River felt like a stock trigger. If you want the best you gotta pay to play

I have installed and use the Milazzo-Krieger triggers (Wisconsin Trigger Company).
Their 2-stage match triggers, while not quite a drop in, are pretty easy for most amateurs to install (company made utube videos make it simple). https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...mXWNbdbJOzgNld I just looked to find a web link and it seems they are oob? Either way after the easy install I love these triggers for my match AR. Wish I had stocked up more.
