M1 carbine matches, Cornell, Il.

The Chief City Shooter's Club will be conducting CMP sanctioned M1 carbine matches on May 9th and June 13th. Sign-in begins at 1 pm a safety briefing will be given between 1:30 and 1:45 pm and shoot will commence at 2:00 pm. Many of our club members work on Saturday mornings so to enable them to shoot, this match is scheduled to start at 2 in the afternoon. Chief City has up to 27, 100 yard firing points so every shooter should be able to fire in the first relay. 30 carbine CMP ammo is available for use in this match for $23.00 for a box of 50 rounds. Match entry fees are $12.00. Chief City Shooter's club is located at 27280 N. 1400 East Road, Cornell, Il.
