Default Hello from CA
Hello from central CA. Dad had a M1 Carbine for awhile when I was young but he traded it years ago. Now that I have some free time (newly retired) I am looking to learn more about the carbine towards purchasing one with reasonable pedigree (probably not collector-grade) to take care of and to use as some-times shooter.
Will be reading your posts to learn more details.

Tim, Welcome to the forum. The M1 Carbine is a great arm to own and shoot. There are many out there for sale. Do your homework and get a good shooter. Good luck, Eddie
