You might be able to clean it a bit using some of the LEXOL products found in a saddle shop or supply place. Go easy on it. Probably would not be able to bring it all the way back to its original condition or suppleness.

Value at the most around 175.00-250.00 in excellent cond. Had quite a few over the years. With straps make a difference. JMHO.

"Hard as wood" may be as designed. Go light on the conditioner.
