Default Win 13 M1D #4263

This has gone over 13K for some reason. I got a Win 13 M1D here without the scope and mount for $4500 a few years back. Even after finding a correct scope and mount it is way less than that so I guess these have really gone up

I was wondering the same; I always assume a CMP Auction "premium", but this appears over the top...

There have been (3) WIN13 M1-D's with all the accessories that sold for $4500-$5300 or so in the last year.

I must be missing something.

I thought it would go for $6100-6500 because of the pristine Leupold-Stevens scope in addition to the Win13, flawless stock and hardware.

I nearly fell out of my seat when it first jumped to $11,500. Something tells me that rifle is going to be seen on RIA soon in the $25K range.

that's just plain nuts! I would rather have 2 or 3 very nice ones, rather than just one for that price.

The CMP exists to promote marksmanship. They put the money we send them to good use in that regard. They do help us by making these rifles (and now M1911 pistols) available to us. If someone wants to pay a lot on an auction item - more power to 'em.
