Default Quakenbush Bicycle 22lr

Have a chance at a Quakenbush Bicycle 22lr rifle
Does any one know anything on these?
Made late 1800s or early 1900s

Saw this rifle at the SATEX Show in Sa. a couple of months back . Was in Great condition for any rifle made around those times . I would say it was restored , re-blued , but very well done . Can't remember how much he was asking , but it wasn't cheap . Good luck on your quest to add it to your collection . Bob

Here is an interesting collection of photos related to both rifles and bicycles. Some were made specifically with bicycle riding in mind, while others were interesting adaptations for transporting even standard military rifles on bicycles.

There were even bicycles mounted with machine guns, and one image shows a bicycle rider towing a field piece.
