Default Hello from Missouri

Greetings, I am finally on this forum! I got my paperwork straight with CMP years back, got busy, and have yet to visit the Anniston store or buy a Garand there, but it is something I certainly look forward to in the near future.

Welcome aboard. This is a pretty great place to learn the M1 and historical information, lots of good people. You're probably not that far from me. I shoot at Scrivner and Lead Mine a few times a year.

Thank you Thundermtn, Markeb2800, martindc1, and BSAGuy.

Ive got this link over in Coltgrabber's thread on Secretary of The Army Trophy rifles, and also in ask CMP, may as well post it here also for folks who have interest. Im really more of a patina gun fan, but Im pretty happy with this rifle's insides. I am also a total newbie as pertains to Garands, so learning as I go.... apparently this one is from 1957 and was among the last 175000 produced.... https://postimg.cc/gallery/bPvjpDr
