Would a Remington M1903 that has the had USMC type front and rear sights retrofitted be legal for the vintage bolt rifle matches? By USMC I mean the larger size aperture and wider “hooked” front blade- THANKS

No, a vintage rifle has to be foriegn. The 1917 and Krag are the only US rifles that qualify to be entered in the vintage category. I'm pretty sure you mean entering it in Springfield matches. In that case, as mentioned before those are legal modifications.
